Amman, Aug. 20 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD 10.3 million on Wednesday, with 4.8 million shares changing hands through 2,834 transactions.
The general price index closed at 2,962 points, down 0.24 percent from the previous session.
Of the 90 companies on the index, 23 posted gains, 34 dropped and the rest remained steady.
At the sectoral level, the financial index dropped by 0.44 percent, the industrial index rose by 0.15 percent, and the services index decreased by 0.12 percent.
