Amman, May 19 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD 21.4 million on Tuesday, with 7.4 million shares traded
through 5,438 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,974 points, down 0.23%.
Of the 96 companies traded, 34 saw their share prices rise, while 31
declined compared with their previous closing prices.
At the sector level, the services index fell by 0.46%, the industrial
index declined by 0.21%, and the financial index dropped by 0.12%.
