Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD9.3 million Wednesday, as 4.2 million shares changed hands
through 4,025 transactions.
The general price index fell to 3,971 points, down 0.48%, against the
last performance.
At the sector level, the financial and services indexes dropped 0.65%
and 0.45%, respectively, while the industrial benchmark edged up
0.27%.
Among the 106 companies traded, 46 posted gains and 25 went down,
compared with the previous session’s closing prices.
