Amman, Aug. 24 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD11.8 million Monday, with 6.8 million shares changing hands
through 4,687 transactions.
The general share price index edged up 0.06 percent to close at 4,009
points.
The industrial sector index climbed 0.88 percent and the services
sector rose 0.03 percent, while the financial sector index slipped
0.12 percent.
Of the 100 companies traded during the session, 45 posted gains and
24 recorded declines compared with their previous closes.
