Amman, Aug. 27 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD12.7 million on Thursday, with 4.7 million shares changing
hands through 4,823 transactions.
The general price index fell 0.21 percent to close at 4,008 points.
Of the 102 companies traded, 27 posted gains and 38 posted losses,
while the rest remained unchanged.
By sector, the industrial index rose 0.65 percent, while the
financial index fell 0.47 percent and the services index slipped 0.18
percent.
