Amman, Jan. 7 (Petra) — Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday totaled JD6.8 million, with 4.6 million shares exchanged through 3,346 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,560 points, down 0.6%, against the previous session.
Indices of the financial and industrial sectors declined by 0.73% and 0.60%, respectively, while the services sector went down by 0.22%.
Out of 104 listed companies traded during the session, share prices rose for 29 companies and fell for 41.
