Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD14 million Thursday, with 5.6 million shares changing hands
through 4,381 contracts.
The general share price index rose 0.58 percent to close at 4,061
points.
Of the 102 companies traded, 53 posted gains and 19 recorded declines
compared with their previous closes.
By sector, the industrial index climbed 0.82 percent, services rose
0.64 percent, and the financial sector edged up 0.41 percent.
