Amman, Aug. 19 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD8.8 million Wednesday, as 4.4 million shares changed hands
through 4,011 transactions.
The general index closed at 4,002 points, up 0.31 percent, against
the last session.
At the sector level, the industrial and financial indexes climbed
1.21% and 0.13%, while the services benchmark rose 0.06%.
Of the 103 companies traded, 42 posted share-price gains, compared
with their previous closings, while 29 declined.
