Amman, Aug. 7 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD 10.4 million on Thursday, with 5.1 million shares traded through 4,239 transactions.
The ASE general index rose by 0.98 percent, closing at 2,926 points.
Out of 100 companies traded, 51 saw gains in share prices, while 24 declined.
By sector, the industrial index increased by 1.95 percent, the services index by 0.75 percent, and the financial index by 0.66 percent.
