Amman, Dec. 15 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) saw a total trading volume of JD 7.4 million on Monday, with 3.6 million shares exchanged across 3,103 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,431 points, registering a marginal rise of 0.01 percent. Sector performance was mixed, with the services index increasing by 0.45 percent and the industrial index by 0.10 percent, while the financial sector index declined by 0.18 percent.
Among the 103 companies traded, 35 recorded gains in their share prices, 31 experienced declines, and the remaining companies ended the session unchanged.
