Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD 9 million on Monday, with 5.3 million shares traded through 3,881 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 2,957 points, up by 0.38 percent.
Out of 94 companies traded, 45 saw their share prices rise, while 28 recorded losses.
By sector, the industrial index increased by 0.59 percent, the financial index by 0.36 percent, and the services index by 0.15 percent.
