Amman, April 12 (Petra) — Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD10.5 million on Sunday, with 2.7 million shares traded in 2,829 transactions.
The ASE’s general share price index closed at 3,698 points, down 0.24 percent.
The services sector index fell 0.34 percent, while the financial sector index declined 0.27 percent. The industrial sector index, however, edged up 0.07 percent.
Of the 94 companies whose shares were traded, 21 posted gains, while 42 recorded losses compared with their previous closing prices.
