Amman, Dec. 30 (Petra) — Trading activity at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday recorded a total turnover of JD10.7 million, with 6 million shares traded through 4,231 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,610 points, down 0.34 percent from the previous session.
The services sector index declined by 0.38 percent, the financial sector fell 0.32 percent, and the industrial sector edged down 0.03 percent.
Of the 118 companies whose shares were traded during the session, 44 recorded gains in their closing prices, while 30 companies posted declines compared with their previous closings.
