Amman, Oct. 1 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a trading volume of JD8 million on Wednesday, with 3.3 million shares traded through 3,171 transactions.
The market’s general index closed at 3,041 points, up by 0.26%, against the previous session.
Out of 100 companies whose shares were traded, 40 gained, 21 declined, and 39 remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the financial and services indices rose 0.35% and 0.20%, respectively, while while the industrial benchmark slipped 0.06%.
