Amman, Dec. 18 (Petra) — Total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD6.8 million, with 3.5 million shares traded through 2,897 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,482 points, marking a 0.53% increase, against the pevious session.
Of the 106 companies whose shares were traded, 49 posted gains, while 23 declined, compared with their previous closing prices.
At the sector level, indices of the financial and industrial sectors rose by 0.90% and 0.05%, respectively, while the services sector benchmark slipped 0.05%.
