Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra)– The total trading value at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday reached JD9.3 million, with 4.2 million shares traded through 3,847 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 2,986 points, marking an increase of 0.24 percent.
Out of 98 companies whose shares were traded, 26 recorded gains, while 33 posted losses.
By sector, the industrial index rose by 1.75 percent, while the financial index declined by 0.18 percent and the services index slipped by 0.02 percent.
