Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a trading volume of JD11.4 million on Thursday, with 5.4 million shares traded through 4,475 transactions.
The general stock price index rose by 0.7 percent to close at 3,003 points.
Of the 90 companies whose shares were traded, 34 closed higher, while 31 declined.
At the sector level, the index increased by 0.88 percent in the industrial sector, 0.61 percent in the financial sector, and 0.40 percent in the services sector.
