Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) – Trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD6.7 million on Tuesday, after 3.3 million shares were traded through 2,958 transactions.
The ASE general index closed the day at 3,033 points, down by 0.49 percent.
Out of 96 companies whose shares were traded, compared with their previous session, the share prices of 25 companies went up, 31 companies declined, and 40 others remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the financial index decreased by 0.48 percent, the industrial benchmark fell by 0.46 percent, and the services index dropped by 0.35 percent.
