Amman, Sept. 15 (Petra) — Turnover at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) stood at JD16.1 million on Monday, with 5.6 million shares changing hands through 4,771 transactions.
The general price index closed at 3,046 points, marking an increase of 0.72 percent.
Out of 95 companies on the index, 37 posted gains and 24 dropped.
By sector, the services index rose by 1.14 percent, the industrial index increased by 0.65 percent, and the financial index was up by 0.45 percent.
