Amman, March 4 (Petra) — Trading on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD8.0 million on Wednesday, with 2.1 million shares changing hands through 2,163 transactions.
The market’s general share price index closed at 3,600 points, up 0.79%.
Sector indices rose across the board, led by financials up 1.02%, services higher by 0.63%, and industry edging up 0.07%.
Of the 83 companies traded, 34 recorded gains while 25 closed lower.
