Amman, Oct. 8 (Petra) — The total trading value of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday reached JD7.1M, with 4.9 million shares traded through 3,420 transactions.
The general price index closed at 3,068 points, marking an increase of 0.3 percent, against the previous session.
The financial and services indices rose by 0.30% and 0.27%, respectively, while the industrial sector went up by 0.25%.
Prices of 35 companies’ shares increased compared to their previous sessions, while 20 others declined and 37 remained unchanged.
