Amman, Aug. 2 (Petra) –Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD16 million on Sunday, as 6.7 million shares changed hands
in 5,447 transactions.
The ASE’s general share price index closed at 4,012 points, up 0.41%,
against the last session.
At the sector level, the services and industrial indexes rose 1.17%
and 1.15%, respectively, while the financial benchmark edged down
0.12%.
Of the 104 listed companies whose shares traded, 37 advanced, while
34 went down.
