Amman, Aug. 9 (Petra) — Turnover totals on the Amman Stock Exchange
(ASE) reached JD9 million Sunday, as 4.3 million shares changed
hands through 3,125 transactions.
The general price index eased to 3,963 points, down 0.56 percent,
against the last performance.
At the sector level, industrial and financial indexes fell 0.92% and
0.55%, respectively, while the services benchamrk edged down 0.12
percent.
Of the 95 companies traded, 25 posted price gains and 41 went down,
compared with their previous closes.
