Aqaba, Jan. 4 (Petra) — Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has signed a cooperation agreement with Raccoon Tech company, with support from the Aqaba Governorate Council, to host and manage the official website of the Aqaba Entrepreneurship Network (AEN).
According to an ASEZA statement issued Sunday, the agreement was signed on behalf of the ASEZA by Commissioner for Tourism and Youth Affairs Thabet Nabulsi, and by head of Raccoon, Ahmad Mustafa.
Nabulsi said the agreement aligns with the ASEZA’s vision to advance digital transformation within Aqaba’s entrepreneurship and innovation system. He noted that hosting and managing the AEN website is a strategic step toward building an integrated digital platform that enhances coordination among member entities and facilitates entrepreneurs’ access to programs, services, and opportunities efficiently.
He added that the agreement complements a prior partnership between the ASEZA and Rennes for Training and Development (TTi), which focuses on capacity building for entrepreneurs and support for startups in Aqaba. Integrating training components with technical solutions, he said, is central to strengthening the city’s entrepreneurship system.
Nabulsi also noted that the ASEZA, as the lead entity of the Aqaba Entrepreneurship Network, which includes 31 public and private sector institutions alongside supporters and influencers, continues to expand effective partnerships and foster an innovation-friendly environment, reinforcing Aqaba’s position as a regional hub for sustainable economic development.
