Amman, June 14 (Petra) — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) renewed its warning to avoid approaching fallen objects or areas where missiles, drones or shrapnel have fallen, as these can pose “significant” dangers to life.
The PSD emphasised the importance of following specific safety guidelines in emergency situations related to such objects, including:
Avoid approaching or handling any items found or observed falling and refrain from reckless behavior, as they may contain highly explosive or dangerous materials.
During sirens or alerts, remain inside your home or a safe location and stay away from windows and open areas.
Avoid gatherings and keep a safe distance from any foreign objects that are observed or discovered. Cooperate fully with relevant authorities and allow them to investigate and handle the situation.
Immediately report any sightings of falling foreign objects, drones, missiles or related damage or injuries by calling the unified emergency number 911.
