Amman, December 29 (Petra) – The Meteorological Department warned that weather radar images show continued heavy rainfall affecting central and southern areas of Karak and Tafila, leading to dangerously high water levels, particularly in southern Karak.
The department urged Jordanians to exercise extreme caution, avoid floodplains, valleys, and areas prone to water accumulation and refrain from attempting to cross flooded or low-lying roads.
It emphasised the importance of strictly following public safety instructions to protect lives and property.
