Manama, July 17 (QNA) – The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced on Friday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks.
In a statement, the General Command said that Iran has continued its attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The statement urged the public to exercise caution and avoid approaching any unknown or suspicious objects resulting from debris, and to report them immediately. It added that the Royal Field Engineering Unit is prepared to safely handle such objects using specialized procedures.
It stressed that targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones is a violation of international humanitarian law.
The General Command affirmed that all units and capabilities of the Bahrain Defence Force remain on high alert and fully prepared to protect the Kingdom. (QNA)
