Manama, May 25 (QNA) – King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the latest developments in the Middle East during a phone call on Monday.
According to Bahrain’s state news agency, the two leaders reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region and its implications for regional and global security and stability.
The discussions also focused on the impact of recent developments on international shipping routes, energy security and the global economy.
The call comes amid continuing tensions across the Middle East, with concerns growing over the potential effect of regional instability on trade and energy markets worldwide. (QNA)
