Amman, July 16 (Petra) – A decision was issued on Wednesday, appointing Brig. Gen. Sahel Hammouri as the new Director General of the Royal Medical Services (RMS).
Hammouri is a “distinguished” Jordanian physician at the technical and administrative levels, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and General Surgery from the University of Jordan.
During his academic career, he earned several certifications, mainly Jordanian Board of General Surgery and a postgraduate course in laparoscopic surgery and gastrointestinal surgery.
Additionally, he has held several high-profile military administrative positions in Jordan’s hospitals.
