Budapest, July 26 (QNA) – British McLaren driver and world champion Lando Norris displayed an indomitable spirit at the Hungarian Grand Prix, the 11th round of the Formula 1 World Championship, overcoming an early setback to secure his first victory of the season at the Hungaroring circuit in Budapest.
Norris started from pole position but lost the lead to his Australian teammate Oscar Piastri on the opening lap.
The Briton then launched a determined comeback, going a step beyond to reclaim the top spot and deliver an implacable performance, finishing ahead of Red Bull’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen and Mercedes’ Italian driver Kimi Antonelli, the championship leader. (QNA)
