Amman, August 18 (Petra) -The Embassy of Brunei in Amman hosted a
flag-raising ceremony on Tuesday to commemorate the 59th anniversary
of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Bruneian Ambassador Nor Huda Ahmad led the event alongside diplomats
and ambassadors from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and
Malaysia, honoring nearly six decades of regional unity and
international cooperation.
Ahmad pointed to growing opportunities for ASEAN and Jordan to boost
trade, investment, education, and tourism ties.
