KHARTOUM, Aug. 11, 2026 (SUNA) – The Council of Ministers approved the Ministry of Finance’s report on the current economic situation and financial performance for 2026, covering key challenges and achievements, macroeconomic indicators, and financial performance from January to June. The Cabinet directed continued efforts to strengthen economic recovery and achieve the desired economic growth. At its 15th session, the Council of Ministers commended economic performance and praised the efforts of Finance Minister Dr. Gebreil Ibrahim and all those who contributed to strengthening state institutions and confronting the challenges facing the country under exceptional circumstances.BH/BH
