Khartoum, May 19, 2026 (SUNA) – The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers announced that the Eid Al-Adha holiday will begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and continue until Saturday, May 30, 2026. Work is scheduled to resume on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in accordance with the regulations governing official working days and hours in the country. The statement added that the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan will issue a directive regulating banking sector operations during the holiday period. The Secretariat extended its congratulations to the Sudanese people on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, praying that it returns while the country enjoys security, peace, and stability.BH/BH
