Amman, Oct. 17 (Petra)– The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) handled 1,640 incidents in the last 24 hours, including 1,460 emergency cases, 106 rescue incidents, and 74 firefighting incidents, throughout all of the Kingdom’s governorates.
The average response time was 7:36 minutes for ambulance events, 7:34 minutes for rescue operations, and 7:35 minutes for firefighting accidents. Civil Defense personnel not only dealt with numerous occurrences within their jurisdiction, but also controlled minor fires and provided humanitarian and first aid services to the injured, transferring them to hospitals.
