Washington, July 22 (QNA) – The US military announced that it had completed a new round of strikes against Iran, marking the 11th consecutive day of strikes.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement Wednesday that the strikes targeted Iranian military command centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure, with the aim of further degrading Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement added that over the past three months, Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting this vital international waterway for regional and global trade. These unprovoked attacks have endangered the lives of hundreds of innocent sailors and undermined freedom of navigation. (QNA)
