Washington, July 15 (QNA) – The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Wednesday a new wave of strikes against Iran.
In its statement, CENTCOM added, “The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.”
The Central Command had announced yesterday the resumption of the naval blockade against vessels transiting to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas in order to ensure the freedom and safety of international navigation. (QNA)
