Washington, July 20 (QNA) – US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Sunday that a US service member was killed and another was wounded in northern Iraq.
In a statement, CENTCOM said the service member was killed while performing his duties Saturday during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone.
It added that a second US service member sustained a minor injury in the same incident and continues to receive medical treatment. (QNA)
