AMMAN, Aug. 15 (Petra) — Border Guard forces within the Central
Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt by 3 individuals
across one of its border frontlines as they tried to illegally cross
the frontier.
Military surveillance detected the individuals during their attempt
to breach the border. Border Guard units immediately applied standard
rules of engagement, apprehended the suspects, and transferred them
to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal
procedures.
The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army reaffirmed its unwavering
commitment to dealing firmly and decisively with all forms of
infiltration and smuggling operations, safeguarding the Kingdom’s
security and stability, and protecting its borders from any potential
threats.
