Ajloun, August 17 (Petra) — Chinese Cultural Counselor Zhao
Xiaoqiang visited the Ajloun Cultural Center on Monday to discuss
expanding cultural cooperation.
Ajloun Culture Director Samer Freihat said the Counselor’s visit
drives cultural exchange and creates new avenues for cooperation. He
showcased the center’s local initiatives alongside Ajloun’s
historical and heritage sites, noting their contribution to
supporting artists and enriching Jordan’s national narrative.
Zhao, in turn, discussed the deep-rooted friendship and mutual
respect between Jordan and China, describing cultural exchange as a
“vital bridge for connecting civilizations.”
He said China seeks to broaden partnerships with Jordan across
artistic, knowledge-based, and cultural fields.
Zhao said the visit provided an opportunity to connect with local
culture and explore future collaborative initiatives.
