Amman, May 10 (Petra) – The Civil Defence Directorate handled 1,242 incidents over the past 24 hours, including 1,033 medical emergencies, 108 rescue operations, and 101 fire-related incidents, the agency said on Saturday.
The average response time across all incidents was under eight minutes. Medical emergencies recorded a response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds, rescue operations at 7 minutes and 36 seconds, and firefighting responses at 7 minutes and 34 seconds.
The directorate affirmed its continued readiness to respond to emergencies around the clock and urged citizens to follow safety instructions and guidelines to protect themselves and others.
