Amman, May 19 (Petra) – The Civil Defense Directorate of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported handling 1,737 incidents across Jordan in the past 24 hours, including emergency medical cases, rescues, and firefighting operations.
The breakdown included 1,453 medical emergencies with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds, 114 rescue operations with a response time of 7 minutes and 37 seconds, and 170 fire-related incidents with a response time of 7 minutes and 39 seconds.
The Directorate affirmed that its teams continue to operate with high efficiency around the clock to respond to emergencies and called on citizens to follow public safety guidelines particularly during the summer to ensure personal and property safety.
