Amman, May 22 (Petra) – The Civil Defense Directorate responded to 1,522 incidents across the Kingdom in the past 24 hours, according to official figures released Thursday.
The reported incidents included 1,309 medical emergencies, 103 rescue operations, and 110 firefighting cases. The directorate recorded an average response time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds for emergency medical calls, 7 minutes and 36 seconds for rescue cases, and 7 minutes and 35 seconds for firefighting interventions.
The Civil Defense Directorate emphasized the continuation of its field and preventive measures under the “Safe Summer” campaign, which is aimed at promoting public safety and enhancing community awareness during the summer season.
