Davos, Jan. 22 (Petra)– His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, during a meeting with Lebanon Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Thursday, affirmed the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Lebanon.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Crown Prince conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah II’s regards to Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun.
His Royal Highness reiterated Jordan’s support for Lebanon’s efforts to strengthen its security and stability.
Discussions also covered the meetings of the Jordanian–Lebanese Joint Higher Committee, which reconvened earlier this year after a hiatus with the aim of consolidating joint action in vital areas.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
