Amman, Aug. 27 (Petra)– The Cybercrime Unit at the Public Security
Directorate (PSD) has urged internet users to avoid interacting with
online posts containing insults, personal abuse, or defamation
against individuals.
The unit stressed that anyone viewing such content should always
remember that sharing offensive material or commenting on it
constitutes participation in the offense and may expose the person
involved to legal accountability.
The warning came as part of the unit’s efforts to raise public
awareness about responsible online behavior and the legal
consequences of engaging with abusive or defamatory content on
websites and social media platforms.
