Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 63,557, with Injuries Increasing to 160,660 Gaza, 1 Sep (ONA) — The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has soared to 63,557, with 160,660 reported wounded.
A statement by Gaza’s Ministry of Health today stated that the Strip’s hospitals received 98 martyrs and 404 injuries during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
The statement added that the recorded casualty toll since the Israeli occupation breached the ceasefire deal on March 18 reached 11,426 martyrs and 48,619 wounded.
The toll among those who were killed while queuing for aid and received by hospitals in the past 24 hours reached 46 martyrs and 239 injured, bringing the total number of those who died while trying to make a living and received by hospitals to 2,294, with 16,839 wounded, the statement said.
Over the past 24 hours, Gaza’s hospitals recorded 9 deaths, among them 3 children due to starvation and malnutrition, thereby raising the total number of war-of-starvation victims to 348 cases, including 127 children. — Ends/AH
