Gaza, April 19 (QNA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,551 with 172,274 injured.
Medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Strip received two bodies of martyrs in the past 24 hours, one of whom was recovered. They noted that the total number of victims killed and wounded since the ceasefire agreement was signed on October 10th has risen to 775 martyrs and 2,171 wounded.
The sources also indicated that the recovery of victims from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by the Israeli occupation during its aggression against Gaza continues. So far, 760 bodies of martyrs have been recovered despite limited resources and equipment.
They added that 196 martyrs have been added to the cumulative death toll since the beginning of April, after their data was completed and they were approved by the Martyrs’ Recognition Committee. (QNA)
