Deaths and Injuries in Mutual Attacks Between Russia and Ukraine

Moscow, September 06 (QNA) – A number of people were killed and injured on Sunday in mutual attacks between Russia and Ukraine, according to authorities in both countries.
Russian authorities announced that one person was killed and another injured in a Ukrainian drone attack targeting the Russian city of Belgorod.
RT reported that the Ukrainian drone targeted a vehicle in the village of Golovchino, killing one person who succumbed to his injuries and injuring a woman who sustained several shrapnel wounds and fractures.
The acting governor of Belgorod Alexander Shuvaev announced last night that five people had been killed and 14 others injured in the city over the previous 24 hours as a result of attacks carried out by Ukrainian forces.
On the Ukrainian side, authorities announced that one person was killed and 25 others injured in Russian airstrikes targeting the city of Zaporizhzhia.
The Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces carried out 886 airstrikes, killing one person and injuring 25 others.
Since the outbreak of the war on February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have issued almost daily reports on the course of the fighting and the affected areas. However, these accounts often come from the two parties to the conflict and, given the ongoing war and the nature of military operations, not all of them have been independently verified. (QNA)
