Amman, June 24 (Petra) — Reigning Jordanian Professional League champions, Al-Hussein Irbid Football Club, Tuesday announced a series of key signings and contract renewals as they gear up for the new football season, kicking off on July 21.

In a move set to strengthen their midfield, Al-Hussein Irbid officially secured the services of talented playmaker Hashem Al-Mabyadeen, formerly of Al-Jazeera club, on a three-season deal. Joining him is Ward Al-Bari, who has penned a one-season contract.

The club also confirmed the crucial re-signing of local stalwart Saleem Obaid, a vital cog in their recent successes, and the extension for Brazilian import Italo Silva, whose attacking prowess will be crucial in their quest for silverware.
