Doha, May 21 (QNA) – HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, met on Thursday with HE Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov and the accompanying delegation, during his visit to the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments and security updates in the region, along with aspects of military cooperation and joint coordination in light of the current circumstances.
The meeting also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on military cooperation between the Qatari Ministry of Defense and the Uzbek Ministry of Defense.
Several senior officers and officials from both sides attended the meeting. (QNA)
