Baghdad, March 16 (Petra) — The Majnoon oil field in southern Iraq was attacked by two drones on Monday, according to the Basra provincial police.
Authorities reported that the first drone struck the field’s communications tower, while the second targeted an office belonging to an American company within the oil facility.
The Majnoon oil field, located east of Basra, is one of Iraq’s most significant oil sites, contributing substantially to the country’s production capacity, with output reaching hundreds of thousands of barrels daily.
